Quick Troubleshooting
  1. Unable to power on/startup failure
    • Check battery charge: Replace with a fully charged battery and retest to rule out battery depletion issues;
    • Check the power interface: Inspect whether the connection between the battery and the device body is loose or oxidized. Clean the interface and reinsert it;
    • Check the power switch: Ensure the switch is not damaged, and test for any noticeable resistance when pressing. If necessary, press lightly multiple times for testing;
    • Emergency Reset: Press and hold the reset button on the device for 3-5 seconds (refer to the product manual for the exact location), then attempt to power it on after the reboot;
    • If the above operations are ineffective, it is determined as a hardware failure, and after-sales service should be contacted for repair.
  2. Action lag/offset/inaccuracy
    • Clean joint components: Check for any foreign objects stuck or dust accumulation at the mechanical dog's joints. Wipe them clean with a dry soft cloth and retry;
    • Calibrate motion parameters: Perform motion calibration again via the product's companion app or computer software (refer to the "Motion Calibration" section in the manual for specific steps);
    • Check the firmware version: Verify that the mechanical dog's firmware is the latest version. If not, upgrade to the latest firmware and then conduct tests;
    • Inspect joint wear: If there is abnormal noise during joint rotation, it may indicate internal component wear, requiring an application for joint module replacement.
  3. Connection Failure (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi/APP connection failure)
    • Basic troubleshooting: Restart the robotic dog and connected devices (mobile phone/computer), and turn off other devices that may interfere with Bluetooth/Wi-Fi;
    • Distance Test: Ensure the distance between the connected device and the robotic dog is within the effective range (Bluetooth ≤10 meters, Wi-Fi ≤50 meters, unobstructed);
    • Re-pairing: Remove the paired mechanical dog information from the connected devices, then search and pair again;
    • Network Check: When connected to Wi-Fi, ensure the network is stable and the robotic dog has correctly entered the Wi-Fi password (note the case sensitivity);
    • APP Update: Check if the companion APP is the latest version and retry after updating.
  4. Significant drop in battery life
    • Environmental Inspection: Ensure the operating temperature is within the product's specified range (typically -10°C to 40°C), as low temperatures can significantly affect battery life;
    • Charging Inspection: Use the original factory charger to charge the device, ensuring it is fully charged before use to avoid frequent operation with insufficient battery;
    • Battery Calibration: Perform battery calibration via the APP (supported by certain models). If no improvement is observed after calibration, it may indicate battery aging, and the original factory battery should be replaced.
